Leadership Program

at Fresno State

Students gain invaluable tools based on relationships created with one another and community-at-large as classroom studies are coupled with hands-on experiences to solve real issues. The unique Leadership Program prepares students for navigating the professional world by building skills focused on collaborative teamwork, partnering with community benefit organizations and contributing to philanthropic grantmaking. Humanics@FresnoState has more than 320 alumni and works with dozens of community-benefit organizations throughout the region as well as international exchanges.

Humanics@FresnoState is housed in the College of Social Sciences within the Sociology Department. The Humanics Program offers both a Certificate in CBO Administration & Leadership and a Minor Degree in Philanthropic & Community-based Leadership and is a segue between undergraduate and graduate education.  Participants have the opportunity to engage in multiple rich experiences that provide significant growth opportunities for LEADERSHIP IN SERVICE TO HUMANITY.
